Lineartronic® CVT

Subaru takes a look into the future with EyeSight.[1] Two cameras are mounted by the rearview mirror to monitor traffic and react to conditions even before you do. Basically, EyeSight sees the problem and initiates action to help avoid the trouble. EyeSight will also sound an alert and flash a visual warning if there's danger of a collision and will apply the brakes automatically if you don't. It can also optimize cruise control and warn drivers when they're swaying outside their lane.

EyeSight
is an exclusive Subaru system that utilizes two specialized cameras.
These camera's create a stereoscopic view of the road ahead. Just like
our eyes this allows
it to determine depth and relative position of objects on the road
ahead of the vehicle. Unlike radar based systems, it can detect more
than metal.
EyeSight
can actively map what it is seeing. It designates images into
categories like 'pedestrian' or 'vehicle'
From there it determines
whether there is a threat level to the vehicle. If it determines a
dangerous situation it can take active steps to avoid it!
SUBARU BOXER® Engine Options
There are different SUBARU BOXER® engines for the different styles of Subaru vehicles, tailored to the vehicle and meeting the performance requirements of customers' needs. But every engine is built from the same simple, efficient design.
